Kennett Scarborough Hore was born on 6 November 1893, the son of George Kennett Hore and his wife Charlotte Rosa. In November 1913 Hore went to work for London County & Westminster Bank.

 

Early in the First World War, Hore left his job at the bank's London Lombard Street branch to go on military service. By 1915 he was a Lieutenant in the London Regiment. He died in France on 25 September 1915. He was 21 years old.

 

Kennett Hore is commemorated on a bank war memorial at NatWest City of London office.
