John Hugh Jones

John Hugh Jones was born in about 1894, the son of Robert and Kate Jones. From about 1912 he worked for Parr's Bank.

During the First World War Jones left his job in the bank's Crewe branch to join the army, becoming a Private in the Royal Fusiliers. He died on 29 May 1917 of wounds received in action in France. He was 23 years old.
