Harry Palmer is commemorated on Portsmouth Naval Memorial along with his London County & Westminster Bank colleague, Edgar Price. Although they didn’t work at the same branch before the war, it must have been a reminder of home to work with a colleague from the bank on HMS Black Prince. Rest in peace.
