Reginald Humphreys Robinson was born on 31 January 1881. In June 1898 he went to work for Manchester & County Bank at its Fleetwood branch. In December 1899 he transferred to the bank's Blackpool branch.

 

In February 1917 Robinson left the bank to go on military service. By 1918 he was a Lieutenant in the King's Own (Royal Lancaster Regiment). He was killed in action in France on 4 October 1918. He was 37 years old and left a widow, Mary.
