Marmaduke Ignatio Scott-Boss was born in about 1897, the son of Ada and Louis Scott-Boss. He joined the staff of London County & Westminster Bank at its Wimbledon Park branch on 1 October 1914.
On 5 June 1915 he left the bank to join the army, becoming a Rifleman in the 5th Battalion of the London Rifle Brigade. He was killed in France on 11 October 1918. He was 21 years old.
