Albert Frank Weeks was born on 27 November 1887, the son of George Weeks and Harriet Augusta his wife. He worked for Union of London & Smiths Bank, and was also a member of the bank's staff sports club.

 

Early in the First World War Weeks left his job at the bank's head office in Princes Street, London, to go on military service. Private Alfred Frank Weeks of the Royal Fusiliers was killed in France on 2 November 1915, when the dug-out in which he was sheltering was destroyed by a shell. He was 27 years old.

 

Albert Weeks is commemorated on a bank war memorial at NatWest City of London office.
