Peter Farrow Frecker was born in Kingston, Surrey in 1916, the son of Silvia and Albert Charles Frecker. He worked for Coutts & Co, London. 

 

Outside work Frecker was a member of the Territorial Army, having joined the Inns of Court Regiment in 1936. After the outbreak of the Second World War in 1939 he left the bank to go on full-time military service in the Royal Artillery. During 1942 he attained the rank of Captain and was posted to India to serve in the 9th Field Regiment of the Royal Indian Artillery. Captain Frecker was killed on 9 December 1944 when a lorry in which he was a passenger overturned. He was 28 years old.

 

Peter Frecker is commemorated on a bank memorial at Coutts & Co, London 440 Strand.
