Kenneth George Morton was born in Epsom on 8 June 1927, the son of Charles and Irene Morton. He joined the temporary wartime staff of Westminster Bank at its Purley branch in July 1942. 

 

He was killed in an air raid while on fire guard duty in Croydon on 29 January 1944. He was 16 years old.

 

Kenneth Morton is commemorated on a bank war memorial at NatWest Wallington branch.
