Kenneth Henry Stoneham was born on 19 April 1924, the son of Alfred Henry and Ida Stoneham. He joined the temporary wartime staff of Westminster Bank at its London Lombard Street office. 

 

He later left the bank to go on war service, becoming a Trooper in the Royal Armoured Corps. He died in France on 10 July 1944. He was 20 years old.

 

Kenneth Stoneham is commemorated on a bank war memorial at NatWest City of London office.
