Thomas Lipton Clements was born in Omagh in 1896. He worked for Ulster Bank at its Banbridge branch, and later at Downpatrick branch.

 

In December 1915 Clements joined the army. He was commissioned in December 1916. Second Lieutenant Thomas Lipton Clements of the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers died in France on 23 March 1918. He was 21 years old.

 

Thomas Clements is commemorated on two memorials at Ulster Bank’s Belfast head office: its roll of honour for staff who served in the First World War and its memorial for those who fell.
